There have been a lot of changes on IITO lately. When I started last week, I wasn’t sure how the final solution would ultimately become; therefore, several different approaches were carried out. The site had slowly turned into more user-friendly due to the abandonment of inline frames and hidden hyperlinks. Everything is now linked with one main menu. The new layout of pages such as Architecture, photos, and W_Blog is straightforward and easy to follow, yet it effectively enhances the content of the topic. These changes are successful and I believe such methods would be used more in the future.

I was checking things out a couple of days ago on some of the older pages on IITO. “the dream that stuff was made of” archive 1 & archive 2 The truth is, other than all the photos, I really did spend more time on drawings and designs prior to 2004. There was this one picture particularly had my attention. I was greatly amused how similar its language is to my understanding and way of art nowadays. Above is a comparison of two images that were created almost 10 years apart. The first one is an acrylic painting which belongs to a series called “Ocean” (other entries 1 2 3 4 5). The second one is a photo I took recently. In fact, now I recall when the shot was taken, the image of the painting had actually resurfaced into my conscience. |

"The font size needs to be bigger!!!!!" was one of my many surfacing thoughts while I was reading the previous rambling entries. |

Ok. First of all, the short-lived "my Gray Book" has gone into archives for good. After all the changes happened on IITO recently, the page simply didn't belong anymore. Instead, a new section was created intending to become the next IITO blog. So "W_Blog" is here. It would be a wise thing if I could stay away from web editing for just a couple of days. As much fun as it is, being tied to my chair with a sore back isn't exactly listed on my "739-Favorite-Things-To-Do-On-Any-Given-Day-List", you know. However, I am trying out many new things which consequently all demand a computer (and time, not to mention). It is all about the eagerness to manipulate the world. |
